Was released for Crossy Road's 3rd birthday update in December 2017. Similar to most of the mascots, the grasslands serve as the terrain for the Birthday Chicken. Trees and boulders appear as obstacles and the only enemy being the Eagle, who will pick the player up if they idle for too long. When playing with this mascot the field bops up and down with birthday boxes, people and confetti. Framed is basically dressed in a black suit with a black suitcase to match the theme. You must guide a chicken safely across roads, rivers, and even train tracks as it goes. Framed can be seen in action in the video posted by developer Matt Hall on Everyplay here. Anyone who has played Konamis classic arcade game Frogger will recognize Crossy Roads gameplay. He is based off of an app of the same name. The concept of the game stems from the joke 'Why did the chicken cross the road', although it is also described as 'endless Frogger' due to its similarities with the eponymous game released by Konami in 1981. Framed is a playable mascot released in the Micro Update. The Birthday Chicken can be obtained for 100 coins on the Prize Machine or purchased for $0.99. Crossy Road is a mobile game developed by Hipster Whale. It wears a crown, but its body is identical to the original chicken with white feathers, orange beak and feet, red wattle and black eyes.
